and though you'll try,
YOU'LL NEVER FIND A WAY TO BREAK ME, YOU MIGHT SAY I'M OF BEING LOST IN THE CROWD.
she clutched the leash in her hand, yanking the massive great dane back. a coughing sound exited it's mouth, as it struggled and panted. "well, stupid, if you didn't make this so hard ..." sahara said through gritted teeth. the dog loved to run and was normally incredibly hyper. his tail was whipping back and forth, showing that he really was in no pain, and sahara rolled her eyes. the dog tried her patience at every turn. his name was clyde and he was a terror on four legs. sahara was convinced that the dog was possessed. if there was any possible way she could have somebody in her family give the dog an exorcist, or request it, without offending them she would have. her outfit today consisted of a white tank, blue jeans, and a pair of adorable black and gray shoes by coach. she loved those shoes, and that store. on her wrist, she wore a silver bracelet also by coach, though it was covered by her silver purse, which had slid down her arm seeing as how both were outstretched, and downward, in an attempt to hold the beast back.
knowing it wouldn't get better, sahara growled. she couldn't stand clyde. the other great dane, jericho, was fine. but clyde? monstrosity. troglydyte. good god she wished she had a shock collar. that would solve the entire problem of the beast attempting to yank her arms out of their sockets. knowing what he was struggling towards, sahara sighed and gave up. the hotdog stand. she took out five dollars and paid the man for two hot dogs, a lemonade, and a pretzel. she'd have half a hotdog, and give the other one and the half she hadn't eaten to the dog. that would shut him up for a while. plopping down on a bench, with the beast's head in her lap, eyes watching her intently, she nibbled on the end of one of the hot dogs. "oh, i'm sorry. can i help you?" she asked the great dane, mouth turning up at the corners as she watched him salivate over the bread and meat. pushing his face out of her lap, she dropped one of the hotdogs on the ground. it was gone in no time flat, down the black beast's mouth and into his stomach. he almost instantly put his head in her lap and stared at her for the other half he knew was coming.
graciously placing the other hot dog on the ground, she smiled as he took his time with this one, nosing it around before snatching up the hot dog. she started on her pretzel, not noticing when, as he finished the hot dog, he decided to dart off towards the lake. caught by surprise, sahara was yanked forward and the leash flew out of her hand. "you wretched beast!" she yelled out at the dog, instantly standing and flying after him. though she had been a star track runner in school, she was no match for the dog, and he stayed just in front of her. the pretzel was still in her hand, the lemonade forgotten. idiot dog . . . she grumbled mentally. if there was one thing she hated more than anything, it was a badly trained and misbehaving animal.
