we all have those days where we rant our woes and frustrations into the world and for the rich and beautiful it's no different. and what if the world doesn't listen? well then we turn to our journals.

now, now it might seem low class but it's one of the easiest ways to communicate back and forth overseas. besides, your conscious and your feelings go on a vacation the moment you're behind that keyboard.

it's a wonder we call them phones considering all they can do nowadays. surf the internet, buy movie tickets, or reveal infidelity when your wife reads those saucy texts from your mistress. it's no wonder that these two inch drama stirrers are all the rage.

the upper side. or as we like to call it, the end of the rainbow. yes, this area happens to be the pot of gold for most of the world but for socialites? well this is their bronx. their territory. conquered by blood. blue blood that is.

between 14th and 59th, from the hudson to the east river. midtown is what the socialites might refer to as 'safe zone'. they might be outnumbered by the lower classes here but their still close to home territory in case they ever was to take the Lincoln back to the upper side. midtown is where the rich become richer and their children come to spend it all away.

if you're a suburban kid wanting to rebel, where do you run off to? the projects. and if you're a socialite kid? the lower side. because nothing will break the hear of an upper-class parent more than learning their precious child had been drinking beers from the bottle, shooting billiards ball for five bucks a table in a std-laced bar in the meat packing district. and what if you're an upper class parent needing a taste of rebellious youth? we hear jersey girls landing fresh in tribeca is where its at. hey, if it's good enough for elliot spitzer, it's good enough for you.

so the weather stinks, no one smiles, and it's a bitch to get around but London we'd have you no other way. the bourgeoisie may of had their roots in france but they were glorified in england. take a walk down high street, you'll bump into the rich and famous left, right, and center.

now, this is not a place where any proper lady should be. so why do we flock here in hoards? the night scene of course. clubs, pubs, running through liecester square with the family jewels on display (and we're not talking about your grandmama's broach).

you can't walk through this district without a sense of feeling important (not that the bourgeoisie have to feel anymore important than they already are). exclusive hotels, expensive department stores, swanky galleries, opulent restaurants, the finest auctions houses, and hoem to some of the world's top corporations. walk through this place and you'll feel like a million bucks (not that your trust fund isn't already worth that much).

walking down the streets of the latin quarter you may notice that there is as much tourists around as there are Parisians, but don't fret it doesn't take away from charm any less. the fast food joints and americanized bars may give this district a cheap and cheerful feel but it is also the home to many of France's top universities.

this is the center of paris' wealth. walking down the elegant blocks affords you an amazing view of the effiel tower. ornate bridges and cobblestone paths, this is paris at it's best.

welcome to the times square of paris. everything that paris has to boasts can be found in this district. there's something for everyone here and for the rich what's better than having lunch at the Ladurée and then heading to the Palais de Tokyo for some contemporary art.

walking through the cobblestone streets, your prada heels clicking against the cold stone. you can hear the splashing of the trevi fountain, the gentle laughter. you enter the piazza you see the smiles on lovers' faces and children running around. and that's when you realized, you left your purse in the gelato place a block away. nice.

forget the Colosseum or the Forum this is the heart of everything Roman. even socialites will feel the urge to trade their iPods for buskers and their Blackberries to the sights around Rome's more famous piazzas.

the village within the city. where else can the ultimate insiders seeking for freedom ever try and belong than the place that wasn't even considered part of Rome till the 14th century.
