juliette closed her laptop with a soft sigh, fresh tears threatening to fall down her face. why? why now of all times did romeo have to go to the most dangerous place to be during the bloody war?! juliette gave another soft sigh and rubbed her eyes gently before standing up, wearing a white tank top and tight blue jeans as she walked into the kitchen of the tiny home she and geni were staying in. she didn't mind it much, mainly because she liked everyone in the home and was excited to spend time with them. heading over to the fridge she searched through it frantically for something to get the matter off her head. ' ugh! where can a girl find some vodka or a martini or something' she thought to herself, looking around the whole kitchen for even the slightest hint of alchohal. Obviously the apple martini she had, and dropped from laughing so hard at cass and flan, had been the only sign of alcohal in this house.
juliette let out a frustrated sigh and turned walking towards the front door and moving past romeo has she walked out, her footsteps carrying her to the very edge of the property, where a few horses ran around, wild and free. juliette plopped herself down on the ground, the mascara she wore half smeared from crying. She wouldn't say she loved loved romeo, mainly because she hadn't known him long enough to say that, but she did like romeo. He was like something out've juliette's dreams. the perfect guy that every girl wants and searches for their whole entire life. He was that guy to her. He was cute, sweet, charming, plus he loved her food and walking. juliette let out a deep sigh as she stared up at the sky and closed her eyes. "please.. please let romeo come back safe" she whispered softly so only she could hear.

It had been an unexpected call.
It really had been.
He had only come back about two or so weeks ago and already they were calling him back. Again. Unexpected, yet somehow expected. What was unexpected was that he would meet Jules. He liked her, in that first impressions sort of way. It was definetly a surface thing, and June, along with Zed, advised him to just be careful with her, considering she had just recently gotten a divorce and just had a baby a week ago. He didn't want to upset her, but he had to tell her this, right? It was one of the main reasons he just didn't date people. He was never around.
As he watched her walk past him, he sighed deeply, playing with the medal in his hand. The iron cross. A symbol of bravery, courage, strength, and intelligence. He glanced down at it, but as Jules seemed to sit on the ground, he got up and silently walked towards her, just managing to hear what she was whispering. He bit his lower lip and sat down next to her, pulling her into his arms and wiping her tears away, "Hey...." he kissed her forehead and gave her a soft smile, "No crying. I'm not gonna be gone for long...And I'll be back. I always come back."
He remembered when he had to say that to his ex wife, Jade. She had been crying so hard the first time he left... She had told him that if anything happened to him she would kill herself just so she could kick his ass in heaven. He had laughed at her, told her he would come back to her no matter what, as long as she was willing to wait. She lied to his face and said she would.
And the night she went into labor, she promised everything would be fine...Another lie. Only this one hurt more because she ended up six feet under.
